Monica opened her Williamsburg studio in 2000 and quickly built a successful business with a reputation for excellence and cutting-edge imagery. She has earned the prestigious Craftsman and Master’s Degrees from the Professional Photographers of America, was recognized as Kodak’s Photographer to Watch in 2007 and was named a Sony Artisan of Imagery in 2021.
Monica is a popular speaker and travels to speak to professional photographers around the country. She has earned the reputation for providing entertaining programs that focus on marketing and building your brand; energizing seasoned studio owners and inspiring new photographers alike.
Both Monica and Michael are award-winning photographic artists, best-known for their fresh, innovative signature style that represent their clients with emotion and honesty. They joined their amazing talents together over ten years ago and own the premier photography studio in the Williamsburg/Hampton Roads area. They specialize in family, children’s and pet portraiture, as well as commercial photography. Additionally, they are involved in several charitable causes in the area and founded the Women With A Cause and Grove Summer of Love projects, both serving to bring awareness to local organizations in need.
Michael owned a successful portrait studio in Pasadena for twenty years and has served as a past president of the Professional Photographers of America. He has been a resident of Williamsburg for 12 years. Here, he works as co-owner and photographer at Sigmon Taylor.
His distinguished portfolio includes portraiture of Gerald Ford, Marlo Thomas, Carol Channing, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Locally, he does extensive work for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Riverside Health System, Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, and many more.
