Dancing With the Big Girls
Two weeks ago, I photographed Bekah Blythe, the owner of En Pointe Dance Academy, with her two girls - Charlotte (15) and Emersyn (1.5) as a part of an Artist's Project we are working on. Seeing the three of them dance together was absolutely beautiful and together we created so many amazing images. This is definitely one of my favorites. I love seeing the baby trying to be like the big girls, but I especially love seeing the contrast between Mom's shoes (left) that are so well worn, Charlotte's (right) which are a little less so, and, of course, Emersyn's brand new slippers. So much emotion in this session ... it was such a treat to work with them.
